Located in the heart of Eagle River, Wildwood Outdoor Adventures provides a diverse range of amenities and activities to enhance your camping experience. The campground offers various site options, including tent sites and RV sites equipped with full hookups and water/electric connections. Each site features a fire ring and picnic table, ensuring comfort and convenience for all campers. The campground also boasts floating boat slips for easy access to the Eagle River Chain O' Lakes, along with boat docks, private family showers, and convenient facilities such as a general store and laundry. Visitors can unwind around the community fire pit or enjoy the playground, making it a great spot for relaxation and family fun. Eagle River, with its rich array of outdoor activities, is right at your doorstep. The Eagle River Chain O' Lakes is perfect for boating, fishing, and paddle sports, while the nearby Nicolet National Forest offers scenic hiking trails and additional camping opportunities. History enthusiasts can explore the region’s past through the Eagle River Historical Society Trails and the Eagle River Historical Museum. In winter, the area becomes a hub for snowmobiling and ice fishing, making Wildwood Outdoor Adventures a year-round destination.
To enhance your stay, the campground offers a variety of water recreation rentals. You can enjoy a relaxing float down the Wisconsin River with Lazy River Tubing, complete with backrests, cup holders, and connector straps for maximum comfort. Registration and Arrival
Check-In Procedure
- Check-in Time – 2:00 pm.
- Check Out Time – 11:00 am.
- Office Check-in – At the time of arrival please stop at the Base Camp HQ to finalize your check-in, pick up your camping info, receive your car passes & any extra info that you may need.
- Online Check-in – Yes! We offer a No Contact, online check-in.
- In Order to be allowed to check in online at your campsite please make sure that each individual has completed their own Release of Liability form HERE.
- All Release forms must be completed prior to check-in at the campground.
- Upon arrival, once you are settled in at your site a Wildwood Staff member will deliver your Wildwood Camp Packet including your Car Pass to your picnic table.
- Early check-in and Late check-out may be available upon request.
- While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager makes the ultimate decision for spot placement.
Speed Limit
- The Campground speed limit is FIVE MILES PER HOUR…EVERYWHERE…ALL THE TIME!!!
Vehicle Policy
– Washing of vehicles (boats, cars, RVs, etc.) is prohibited in the campground unless you are staying for a longer duration.
- Please check with the office so we can better assist you.
– Vehicles Included – RV Sites include one 1-Camper and one 1-Vehicle or if tent camping in an RV site 2-Vehicles.
– Walk-in Tent Sites include 1 vehicle.
– Extra Vehicles are $5/Vehicle/Night.
– Car Pass – All Vehicles inside the campground must be registered and have a parking pass.
Camp Fires & Firewood
– Fire Rings All sites have a fire ring on site.
– Fires are only allowed in fire rings.
– Fire rings are not to be moved.
– Firewood is available to be picked up at the Camp Office upfront at the entrance.
– Firewood Delivery We will happily have your firewood delivered to your site just let our General Store or Camp Office Staff know.
– Firewood is Sold in Bundles, 1/2 Face Cords & Full Facecords.
– NO Firewood is allowed in from Outside the Wisconsin DNR does not permit firewood to be brought into the campground.
– Firewood from outside the campground is prohibited and will result in a fee.
– Not cutting down trees or limbs or peeling of Bark is allowed at any time.
– Campfire – Fires can not be left unattended.
Visitors
- Your visitors are always welcome at Wildwood Campground.
- All visitors must register as guests at the Office or General Store upon arrival.
- Registered guests are expected to abide by all Campground guidelines.
Guest Fees:
– Daily Guests 8 am-7 pm FREE.
– Late Night Guests 7 pm-10 pm $3/Guest.
– Overnight Guest $7/guest.
Quiet Time
– Quiet Time 10:00 P.M. to 7:00 A.M.
– Please be considerate of your neighbors at all times.
– All children ages 0-17 must be at the guardian's campsite by 10 P.M.
– Outside of these times, please enjoy time at your site, but be respectful of other guests.
Sanitary Station
- The Dumpsters and the Dump station are located near the exit onto Skinner Rd at the Sanitary Station shown on the Campground map.
- Please dispose of your trash properly at the dumpsters in the Sanitary Station.
- Please dispose of used charcoal in the fire ring at your campsite.
- Ground disposal of waste water (gray or black) is prohibited by State Law.
Pets Policy
- All Pets must be kept on a leash or in a carrier while in all public areas of the Campground &/or Outfitters location.
- All Pet waste must be disposed of in Dumpsters (NOT trash receptacles and NOT in bathrooms)
- Pets are not allowed inside buildings, Playgrounds and pavilions
- Pets that are going on a Trip or Tour with you need to be registered in advance.
- Private shuttles may be required. Additional Fees may apply.
- Pets that are aggressive, vicious, dangerous, or potentially dangerous; require muzzling; or are easily frightened or sensitive, resulting in disruptive behavior (such as fighting or biting) in response to a stimulus are prohibited.
- Pets are required to be kept with you or a designated individual at all times.
- If you leave your pet unattended at your campsite or in a vehicle, you are responsible for your pet's well-being and behavior.
- By bringing your pet onto any of the Wildwood Outdoor Adventures, LLC premiums you are representing and warrant that your pet is up to date on all vaccinations (including rabies and distemper) and flea treatments.
- Pets that create any disturbances, which cause complaints will have to have to have arrangements made elsewhere outside the Campground and/or will not be allowed to go on trip.
- No Refunds Available.
Cancellation Policy
MODERATE
If the guest cancels at least 1 week before your check-in day and time, they will receive a full refund (minus Spot2Nite convenience or resort fees). If the guest cancels within the 1 week before check-in, there will be no refund.
