Registration and Arrival Check-In Procedure - Check-in for the hotel and cottages starts at 4:00 pm and check-out is by 11:00 am. - Check-in for the RV park starts at 1:00 pm and check-out is by 12:00 pm NOON. - While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement. - Please contact front desk upon departure. - We do not offer late checkouts on Friday or Saturdays. - All other days are based on availability on the day of your departure. - Please, call the front desk the morning of your departure to see if/what late check-out is available for your room. - Please, check your room carefully at departure, as Coral Sands is not responsible for any items left in your room. PAYMENT POLICY - Your entire balance is due at check-in. - Any additional nights must be paid in advance. - No exceptions! Any incidentals such as phone calls, room damage, or lost keys ($45.00/key) may be charged to your card. REFUND POLICY - Coral Sands has guaranteed your room for the number of nights requested. - There are no refunds. Only reserve the number of nights you plan to stay. Additional nights may be added based upon availability. - NO REFUNDS FOR EARLY DEPARTURES. HURRICANE/TROPICAL STORM POLICY - No refunds will be given unless the National Weather Service orders mandatory evacuations due to a “Tropical storm/Hurricane Warning.” - The day that the National Weather Service orders a mandatory evacuation for Volusia County, we will refund any unused payments to a guest currently staying at the hotel, or any advanced deposit collected for a reservation scheduled to arrive during the hurricane warning/evacuation period. - If you choose to cancel your reservation or depart early, and there is not a mandatory evacuation, you will be subject to our regular cancellation and refund policies. NON-SMOKING POLICY - Coral Sands implements a partial non-smoking property policy as of August 5th,2019-in order to provide a healthier environment for all guests. - We have selected designated smoking areas on the property. All other areas, rooms, cottages, balconies, porches-including all common areas: pool deck/area, gazebos, grill/picnic areas, inside laundry room will become non-smoking for all guests and visitors. - As for the RV Park, this will include the common areas, pergola and bathrooms as well but of course you can do what you wish inside your own vehicles and inside the perimeter of your site. - Guests smoking in rooms/common areas stated above will incur a $250.00 fee and may be asked to leave after first offense. This policy is strictly enforced. PET POLICY - Coral Sands does have certain cottages that are pet-friendly. Please, inform the hotel when making your reservation that you are bringing a pet. - A pet fee of $25.00 per night, per pet, is required. - There are NO pets allowed in the high-rise building, south cottages, on the beach, or in common areas such as the lobby and pool deck. If there are any pets found in the high-rise or south cottages, you will be charged a $100 fine. - Pets must be treated for fleas prior to your stay, must be kept on a leash at all times and you must pick up after your pet. Disruptive pets may be asked to leave without refund. - Any damage caused by a pet(s) will be charged to your room. - Please contact the hotel directly if your pet is a service animal. This includes the breeds below. BREED RESTRICTIONS - Akita - Chow - German Shepherd - Husky - Mastiff - Perro de Presa Canario (Cane Corso) - Rottweiler - Wolf hybrids/mix of any kind - American Stafford-Staffordshire-Staffordshire Terrier or any mix of any kind, are not allowed. ADA Accessible -Please be advised, unless otherwise notated as a “handicapped unit”, your assigned unit may not be A.D.A. compliant, as per federal law. RV PARK - All RV Park guests are required to check in (1:00pm) and out (12:00pm) at the resort’s front desk. - All policies listed above apply equally to the RV park. - We do not offer cable tv in the RV park however you will be provided with free Wi-Fi. Safety Policy - While at the Coral Sands, please be aware, we take the safety and comfort of all our guests seriously. - Always exercise care and caution customary while staying on our property. - Disrupting any guests experience with inappropriate behavior or conduct including harassment, offensive, threatening or insulting language or any other means deemed inappropriate by management will result in dismissal from the property. - Please be kind and respectful to all guest, including our staff. Coral Sands is not responsible for personal injury, any acts of theft, vandalism, and/or damages to guest’s vehicles. - Coral Sands honors up to a 72-hour do not disturb request, however in the case of an emergency or any safety issue we reserve the right to enter into any hotel room or cottage at any time. Vehicle Size Restriction - No semi-trucks will be allowed on property. Deposit Policy - We require a deposit on all reservations. - The deposit consists of your first night's payment including the taxes. - In order to guarantee your reservation, the credit card, you provide at the time of booking will be charged for the amount of the deposit. - The remaining balance will be due at check-in.
