Check-In Procedure
- Campsites check-in 3 pm
- Campsites check-out 11 am
- Early check-ins and late check-outs are subject to extra fees and availability.
- Registration should be done at the office or check-in booth upon arrival by campers/cabin guests and their guests.
- Non-camping or Cabin Guests are the responsibility of the registered camper/cabin guest.
- If their guest is removed from the property, then the camping/cabin guests are, too, without a refund.
- This applies to all Seasonal, Monthly, and Nightly guests.
- Campground property is for the use of registered campers only.
- If you check in after the office closes, please check in with us at the office before noon the next morning.
- Campers must call in the morning of the requested date of early arrival or departure to verify availability.
- We cannot guarantee earlier than the requested date.
- Please let the office know if you will be arriving after closing time.
- You can officially check in the next morning before noon.
- No refunds due to early departure.
- While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement.
Visitors and Guests
- All visitors must register at the office upon arrival.
- All visitors and guests must stop and register before entering the park.
- Please, no visitor dogs.
- Visitors must leave the campground by 9 pm.

- It is a violation of state code to enter the park without registering upon arrival.
- Entrance onto the campground property constitutes permission for the management of Pioneer Lakes RV Park in Somerset, PA, to photograph the visitor while on the premises and to use any resulting pictures for any lawful purposes without compensation to the visitor.
- The guest assumes all risks and dangers incidental to the activity of camping in a rustic outdoor environment including specifically (but not exclusively), the danger of being injured by insects or other animals, of swimming or boating at the Camp-Resort and its owners, agents, and employees are not liable for injuries or property damages resulting from such causes.
Campsite
- All sites are allowed one camping unit.
- No extra tents are allowed.
- We will make every effort to reserve the site you request, but we cannot guarantee sites or cabins.
- A site type or cabin type is guaranteed.
Pool Policy
- All children 16 and under must be accompanied by a responsible adult age 18 or older.
- No street clothing to be worn in the pool.
- Only pool-approved toys are allowed in the pool area.
- No pets in the pool area.
- No glass of any kind allowed in the pool.
- Pool hours are 9 am to dusk, and the pool is open for swimming from Memorial Day to Labor Day each year.
Fireworks
- No Fireworks Allowed!
- This includes sparklers.
Campfire
- Fire rings are not to be moved without permission.
- Do not leave campfires unattended.
- No burning of pallets, wood with nails, building materials, or other non-firewood items.
- Campfires are allowed in fire rings only.
- Please only put wood in your fire ring.
- Never leave garbage in the fire ring.
- All cigarette butts must be picked up and put in the garbage.
Woods
- Cutting down trees on or off-site is prohibited.
- Do not remove wood from campground property.
- There will be a fee for any tree that has been cut or defaced.
- Possible criminal charges too.
- Wood is sold at the office.
- No out-of-state firewood is allowed on the campground.
Gas
- LP gas is sold at the office.
Fishing
- Pioneer Lakes RV Park fishing permits are required to fish.
- State Licenses are not needed.
- Fish limit is 2 per permit per day.
Motors
- All mopeds must be registered with the DOT.
- Motorized/Electric bikes and rideable electric toys of any kind are not allowed.
Weapons
- Absolutely no firearms, bows, or slingshots will be fired on the property.
Alcohol Policy
- Excessive use of alcoholic beverages and obscene language will not be tolerated.
- All alcohol must be kept at your campsite or appropriately concealed.
Political Signs
- No political signs or flags are to be displayed on, in, or around your site.
- We are a political zone-free property.
Illegal Drugs
- Also, a drug-free zone.
- We will have you immediately removed if any suspicion or cause of drug use.
Wildlife
- Do not feed the waterfowl! Geese, ducks, gulls, etc. (For their health).
- It creates dependence, promotes the spread of disease, and upsets the natural cycles.
- They foul our shores, pollute our waters, and drive away timid species.
Quiet Time
- Quiet time is 11 pm to 8 am and is strictly enforced.
- All radios and other sources of disturbance must be turned off.
- Please respect your neighbors’ peace and quiet!
- Offenders will be asked to leave.
- There will be no refunds.
- Radio and Television are for your personal enjoyment.
- Please keep the volume down so your neighbors can’t hear them.
- At no time should your personal entertainment disturb your neighbor.
- Your sleep schedule may not be the same as others.
- We are all here for different reasons: to have fun, to relax, to escape a noisy home, and to process thoughts.
- Let us respect each other.
- No loud music, loud parties, loud talking, or any loud noises between these times.
Behavior
- Excessive noise, foul language, and loud or obnoxious behavior are not permitted at any time.
- Anyone creating a disturbance will be asked to leave the park without a refund.
- Please be considerate of your neighbors.
Vehicle Policy
- Please do not use anything that is motorized in the park except for golf carts.
- Anyone is allowed to bring a golf cart in with a fee.
- Please call the office for more details on personal golf carts.
- Do not drive them from location to location.
- Only use them to come and go from the park.
- Bicycles should be parked at the site no later than dusk for all ages.
- Washing of vehicles or RVs is not permitted in the park.
- Exception of Seasonal Campers with restrictions on time of week.
Parking Policy
- Please leave all personal vehicles, including motorcycles, parked once inside the park.
- Please park your vehicle at your site and leave it there during your stay, except for going to and from outside the park.
Speed Limit
- The speed limit in the park for all vehicles and moving items with wheels is 5 MPH.
- This includes everything with wheels.
- Examples include bicycles, golf carts, non-motorized scooters, etc.
Children Policy
- All children under the age of 18 must be at their campsite with a responsible adult by 10 pm or dark.
- Children under 18 must be with an adult if leaving their site after dark.
- All common areas, except bathhouses, are closed at dark.
- No motor-operated children’s vehicles are allowed.
- All children need to abide by the 5-mile-an-hour rule when on anything with wheels.
- PA law requires children ages 12 and under to wear a helmet when riding a bicycle.
- Children under 12 must be accompanied by a responsible adult (18 years or older) to activity areas, pool, playground, and game room.
- Parents are responsible for the actions of their children.
- If your child causes damage, you are responsible for paying for said damage.
Pet Policy
- Pets are welcome!
- Guests staying in a cabin with pets will be charged a small fee.
- However, pets can cause problems, so your cooperation is essential.
- Your pet must be leashed at all times.
- Do not leave a pet tied or unattended.
- Current health records and licenses must be available upon request.
- Outdoor overnight pets are not allowed.
- Every dog must be on a leash at all times.
- The human holding the leash must be able to control the pet at all times.
- Like humans, pets can be unpredictable, too.
- Even the nice ones.
- Each guest is responsible for the droppings of their pet, and it should be taken care of immediately.
- Excessive barking will not be tolerated.
- If barking persists, we will address it with the owner.
- Absolutely no aggressive or vicious dogs.
- We don’t care what the breed is.
- It can not be aggressive or vicious.
- Yes, little dogs can be aggressive.
- Pets are not allowed to swim in lakes or the pool.
- If a pet becomes a problem, please notify the office.
- Only non-aggressive dogs are allowed.
- Owners are responsible for any damages or injuries caused by their pets.
- There are no pets allowed in any buildings, playground, or pool area.
- All pets must be kept on a leash, quiet, attended to at all times, and under the control of the owner.
- Owner must immediately pick up any messes created by their pet.
Activities and Events
- We schedule staff and plan activities based on the number of reservations.
Rates
- Rates are subject to change without notice.
Pavilion Reservation Policy
- Reservations are required and will be made on a first-come basis.
- A 50% deposit is required for rental.
- The total amount is due upon arrival.
- No Weekend or Holiday rentals.
Payment Policy
- 50% of the reservation cost must be made at the time of making a reservation.
- The remaining balance due on your reservation will be charged to your card on file thirty (30) days prior to your arrival.
Legal Considerations
- The owner and management are not liable for any lost or stolen articles or any personal injury or damage for any cause.
- All guests agree that the use of all the facilities is at their own risk.
- Failure to comply with any rules will prompt immediate removal from the property.
- There will be no refunds.
- There will be no refunds for any reason, including unsatisfactory weather.
- Photos, videos, and other media that are taken during your stay may be used for promotional pieces.
- This is a privately owned campground.
- The campground owners, managers, and employees are not responsible for accidents or injuries to campers, guests, or their property or the loss of valuables of any kind.
Photo and Video Disclaimer
- By entering our property, you grant Pioneer Lakes RV Park, its affiliated entities, licensees, legal representatives, and promotional partners the irrevocable right to include video, other visual portrayals, and any photography in all forms and media and in all manners, including composite, for advertising, for publication or any other lawful purpose, of all persons in your party.
- You also waive any right to inspect or approve the finished product, including written copy, which may be created in connection therewith.
Campground Disclaimer
- This is a privately owned campground.
- This is a family-oriented campground, and we reserve the right to refuse groups of teens or young adults not properly supervised.
- We reserve the right to interpret and enforce all Rules and Policies for the security and safety of all.
- Management reserves the right to dismiss any and all violators of rules and policies without refund and to remove persons or animals which are considered detrimental to the health, safety and welfare of management or others using the campground and facilities.
- This includes any form of aggressive body language, offensive language, and bullying.
- It is further agreed that any breach by the camper or camper’s guests of the rules and policies shall constitute grounds for immediate dismissal from the campground.

- Camping is an outdoor experience.
- Therefore, we do not give refunds due to discomforts of nature.

- Campers who are uncooperative or violate park rules will be asked to leave with no refund.
- The park assumes no responsibility for accidents, injuries, or loss from any cause.

- All guests agree that the use of all the facilities is at their own risk.
Cancellation Policy
MODERATE
If the guest cancels at least 1 week before your check-in day and time, they will receive a full refund (minus Spot2Nite convenience or resort fees). If the guest cancels within the 1 week before check-in, there will be no refund.
