Mountain View Campground Morrisville
Mountain View Campground is a small, 64-site, family-owned and operated private campground located along the scenic Lamoille River near Mt. Mansfield and Stowe, Vermont. We offer full hook-up RV sites, a separate area for primitive tent camping, and four cabin rentals. The Murray/Beares family became the owners in 2017 and quickly fell in love with this beautiful property, improving and sharing it with guests. As long-time campers ourselves, from primitive backpacking and hiking to family tent camping and RV camping, the goal is to provide a campground that exhibits the qualities that we enjoy when camping and traveling.
This is the perfect location and home base for your Vermont adventures! Offering great access to many outdoor activities and hiking and biking trails for both the novice and the daring. The area abounds with historic and memorable small towns, scenic drives, and vistas, plus many iconic Vermont attractions and shopping nearby. We are also surrounded by all the “tastes” of Vermont from craft breweries and cider to maple syrup, cheese, and ice cream!
After exploring, retreat to Mountain View and just relax! The various amenities offer something for everyone; adults, kids, and even dogs too. Two swimming pools, adults-only hot tub, games, dog park, and river access. We also offer free Wi-Fi throughout the grounds and an onsite camp store with the essentials, plus an excellent selection of local craft beers. Please note that we do not offer any planned activities/events at the campground. While we do not have cable, both antenna and satellite reception is strong.
We strive to provide a clean, relaxing, quiet, and enjoyable experience for our camping guests! It is our goal to continuously improve and provide modern and well-maintained sites and facilities. We are a small, gated campground and cater exclusively to our camping guests; we do not offer day use of our facilities to the public. There is a limit of 6 people per campsite at all times and rules and policies are in place to ensure the safety, enjoyment, and comfort of all campers. We encourage you to familiarize yourself with these rules & policies prior to booking a stay with us.
We look forward to welcoming you to our riverside camping retreat, where you can enjoy, relax and explore!
