At Camp Hebron, we are cultivating a sanctuary where people can connect with God, nature, and each other.
Camp Hebron is a Christian camp and conference center located in Halifax, PA. Nestled along the Appalachian Trail just north of Harrisburg, we have 340 acres of wooded sanctuary.
Come with your church family to retreat in our peaceful mountain setting, send your children to one of our action-packed summer camps, or bring your RV for a weekend family getaway in our campground. We offer everyone a chance to get away and be refreshed.

Registration and Arrival
Check-In Procedure
- Campground check-in: is at 2 pm
- Campground check-out time is 11am.
- Normal check-in time is 6pm and check-out time is 10am, except for the campground.
- Camp Hebron reserves the right to modify this based on usage of facilities.
- While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement.
Alcohol
- Alcohol is not permitted.
- Guests who violate this policy will be asked to leave and will not be refunded.
Conduct
- Camp Hebron is a family-oriented atmosphere that purposes to honor God by maintaining a Biblical standard of conduct.
- All guests are asked to behave in a manner that is honoring of our Christian values.
Conserving Energy
- Keep doors and windows closed when heat or air conditioners are on and turn off fans and lights when leaving rooms.
Prohibited Items
- Illegal drugs, firearms, or explosives are not permitted on Camp Hebron property.
- We reserve the right to expel guests who violate these conditions.
Emergencies
- Camp Hebron assumes no responsibility to offer medical care for rental guests.
- Basic first aid or CPR may be offered pending the availability of a qualified individual.
- In the event of a medical emergency, 911 emergency services will be called.
- Please inform the host immediately if medical services have been called so that we may assist in directing emergency personnel to the building.
- An after-hours emergency number is posted on the office bulletin board.
Fires
- Fires must be supervised by adults and built only in designated areas.
- Please extinguish the fire completely after use.
- In dry seasons fires may be restricted or prohibited.
Meals & Food
- Meals in Sylvan View and Breezewood Inn are typically served buffet-style at 8am, 12pm, and 5pm.
- Shoes are required in all dining facilities, and guests are not permitted in the kitchen area.
- We appreciate guests not taking meals into rooms and request that food or beverages in Sylvan View and Hillside Villa rooms be kept to a minimum.
- Please return all camp dishes to the dining room when finished with them and take care not to leave crumbs or portions of uneaten food lying around.
Modest Attire
- Use modesty in attire and behavior at all times while on camp.
- Men are required to wear a shirt in all public areas, except at the pool or sand volleyball courts.
- Females are to refrain from wearing a two-piece bathing suit, belly shirt, short shorts, or revealing clothing.
Nature & Wildlife
- Please respect all wildlife.
- Woodland animals are untamed and can be dangerous.
- Feeding wildlife is prohibited.
- Please do not pick plants or flowers, carve wood, or break branches from live trees.
- We work hard to keep camp beautiful!
- The natural environment may present other hazards.
- Snakes, mostly non-poisonous, are prevalent, and black bears visit several times a year.
- Guests are asked to wear proper footwear and use appropriate caution when walking trails and enjoying nature.
Pets
- Guests are not permitted to bring pets on camp property.
Quiet Time
- Quiet time is to be observed between 11pm and 7am daily.
Radios, TVs, & Videos
- We encourage guests to take a break from the radio, TV, and video games while at camp.
- Guests choosing to use these devices are asked to keep the volume low or use headphones.
Smoking
- Smoking is discouraged at Camp Hebron. All buildings, including the campground bathhouse, the pool area, the lake deck, the nature center, and the barn, are smoke-free.
- Cigarette butts are considered litter and should be disposed of safely in trash receptacles.
Supervision of Children
- We are concerned for the safety of all children and ask that parents maintain responsibility for supervising their children at all times.
Towels & Blankets
- Camp towels are not intended for use at the pool or lake.
- Blankets and other linens to remain in guest rooms.
Vehicles
- We encourage guests to park vehicles upon arrival and use them only when necessary.
- Regarding riding in open-bed pickup trucks, PA state law reads as follows:
- “An open-bed pickup truck or open flatbed truck may not be driven at a speed of more than 35 miles per hour if any person is occupying the bed of the truck.
- (b) Children. (1) Such a truck may not be driven at any speed if a child less than 18 years of age is occupying the bed of the truck or trailer.”
- On Camp Hebron grounds, ANYONE in the bed of a truck must be seated on the truck bed!
Walking
- For your safety, avoid walking on Camp Hebron Road.
- Ask for a trail map for alternate routes around camp.
Cancellation Policy
MODERATE
If the guest cancels at least 1 week before your check-in day and time, they will receive a full refund (minus Spot2Nite convenience or resort fees). If the guest cancels within the 1 week before check-in, there will be no refund.
