Basecamp Hospitality - Lake Hemet Recreation

Situated in the San Jacinto Mountains, Lake Hemet Reservoir was created in 1895 with the construction of the Lake Hemet Dam and is owned and operated by the Lake Hemet Municipal Water District (LHMWD). Lake Hemet Recreation Company is an authorized concessionaire of LHMWD. Lake Hemet Recreation Company is a part of Basecamp Hospitality (see information below). Camping and fishing is the primary attraction to the lake, which is stocked with rainbow trout, bluegill, and largemouth bass. Other Lake Hemet activities include boating, picnicking, hiking, and camping in the surrounding areas. Lake Hemet is a short drive from the destination mountain town of Idyllwild. In an effort to be more environmentally responsible, all plates and cups for events at Lake Hemet are made from recycled paper materials. We are minimizing our plastic consumption by offering new canned waters for our guests at the market and we are also replacing all lighting with LED bulbs throughout the property.

-All cabins and rentals require a $150 security deposit. Deposit will be returned to the guest minus any damages. -Speed Limit Is 10 MPH -NO FIREWORKS/NO EXCEPTIONS -Fires Are Only Allowed In Designated Fire Rings! No Shoreline Fires Are Allowed/NO EXCEPTIONS -Please Insure-All all Fires Are Extinguished Before Leaving Campsite Or Day Use Area! Never Leave A Campfire Unattended & Do Not Place Coals Or Burning Items In Trash Receptacles! -QUIET HOURS ARE IO:OOPM To 8:OOAM No Music or Generators During This Time! (Be Respectful) -NO Swimming Outside The Water Park Area!!! NO Nadar En El Lago! NO EXCEPTIONS -Water Park Hours Friday —Monday (Memorial Day Weekend — Labor Day Weekend ONLY) o Children Must Be 48" To Play On The Larger Play Structures o $15 Per Person Per Day For The Water Park o $10 Per Person Per Day For The Swim Beach -DOGS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE LAKE AT ANY TIME!!! Dogs Must Be on A Leash At All Times & The Leash Must Be 6' Or Less. Dog Owners Must Remain In Control Of Their Dogs At All Times & Dogs Are Never To Be Left Unattended In A Camp Site Or Day Use Area! Please Remember To Clean Up After Your Pets! -THE SOUTH SHORE (OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE LAKE FROM THE CAMPGROUND) IS A NO TRESPASSING ZONE(BY FOOT OR BY BOAT) & ALL BOATS MUST STAY 100' FROM THE DAM & SPILLWAY! NO EXCEPTIONS -No Launching Of Any Type Of Boat From The Shoreline. All Boats Must Be Inspected & Launched From The Marina Launch Ramp. (Launching, Inspection & Banding Fees Apply) -NO Canoes! NO Inflatables! NO Paddleboards! NO Jet Skis! NO Sailboats! NO EZ Up's Inside Water Park! -Kayaks Are Permitted As Long As They Are 10' Long & Are Not Inflatable/NO EXCEPTIONS -No Glass Items Near The Shoreline/NO EXCEPTIONS -Towed Vehicles Must Be Hitched To A Camper/Travel Trailer When Coming Into The Campgrounds. This Is A Private Campground, California State Law Prohibits Intoxication In Public Areas; Intoxicated Guests Will Be Removed From The Park. -Maximum Per Campsite Is- 2 Vehicles & 8 People & Tents Are Not Allowed In The Full Hook-Up Area -Children 17 & Younger Must Wear A Helmet When Riding Bikes! NO EXCEPTIONS -No Firearms, Air Guns, Slingshots, Or Bow & Arrows Allowed In The Campground -Motorcycles, Motorbikes/Scooters, RZR's, I-ITV's, Or ATVs Cannot Be Operated In The Campground. -Fishing Licenses Are Required For Anyone 16 & Older. -Do Not Wash Dishes At Faucets. Cancellation Policy

MODERATE If the guest cancels at least 1 week before your check-in day and time, they will receive a full refund (minus Spot2Nite convenience or resort fees). If the guest cancels within the 1 week before check-in, there will be no refund.
